Our Coaches

Coach Pierro is currently the Associate Head Coach at Greens Farms Academy. Prior to that, he served in similar roles at Hopkins School, St Joseph's High and was an Assistant Coach at Stratford High School. Coach Pierro is one of the best X and O's coaches in the state and is a tremendous teacher of the game. In addition to his many years of high school coaching experience, Coach Pierro has also been involved coaching various AAU programs throughout his coaching career.

Coach August has just completed his first year as an assistant coach at Greens Farms Academy. He formerly played for 4 years at Curry College in Massachusetts. In addition to being an assistant at GFA, Coach August also is also an assistant coach at Academic Basketball Club (ABC) during the AAU season. Coach August is tremendous working with younger kids as well as high school kids teaching them the necessary skills and fundamentals to be successful in the sport.

Coach Brantley, just completed his first year as an assistant coach at Greens Farms Academy. Prior to that, he served in a similar role at Hopkins School. Coach Brantley was a standout player at Stratford High and then moved on to play D2 basketball at Caldwell and Southern CT State University. He is a great trainer on the basic skills and fundamentals of the game. He works with our guards and not only helps them develop the necessary skills needed, but also develops their basketball IQ.
